I am blessed with two wonderful musically inclined kids. My daughter is now one of the keyboardists in our Church. My son already learned the basics of playing guitar and is doing more practice right now to gain expertise. If a child has interest in music, it is important that parents give their full support on him/her. Children need not be sent to exclusive schools for music in order to excel in the field, being part of a church music ministry is a great alternative if you want your child to musically develop. Also, there are some schools nowadays that provides music programs to qualified students for free. Once your children already acquired mastery in music, you may already consider giving them their own music instrument. As of now we're already eyeing on the excellent gretsch electromatic at guitar center. We'd like to give our son the best guitar to encourage him even more.
