How to recover from holiday overeating

During the holiday season, one of the problems I face is that I overindulged on eating. Are you also guilty of overeating during the holidays? Well what’s done is done, the best thing to do is just get back into healthy eating and drinking today.

Here are some to get things moving in the right direction again:

Drink water or stay hydrated. It helps control hunger and excess appetite,  some people often mistake thirst for hunger so next time you feel like eating, reach for water, herbal teas, broth, or  fresh juices first . Keep them flowing all day long. Stay away from sodas and go easy on alcohol.

Look for nutritious low-calorie alternatives to sugary, fatty foods.  Eat plenty of nutrient dense plant-based foods making it light and nutritious, this will help battle cravings and support natural detoxification.

Make smart substitutions.  Choose the best dietary supplements at Supplement to supplement your diet. Dietary supplements provide additional nutrients and multi vitamins that can help boost your energy and immune system.

Get moving.  It doesn’t have to mean at the gym, go for a walk around the block, or maybe do 20 lunges and squats while watching your favorite movie.
