I am Mommy Elvz, a Filipina working mom. I have two kids ages 11 and 7. I've been working as a Chemist for 15 years. Being a working mom takes a lot of challenges, and it's even more challenging due to my disability.
Yes, I'm partially disabled. March 2002, my right foot was amputated due to a car accident.. our future and my dreams was shattered.. But I'm still thankful to God that I was given another chance to live. I can still grow old with my kids, be able to guide, nurture and love them. And in spite of my disability I can still go to work and support my family.
Although there are things I can no longer do because of my disability, I still hope that I'll be able to reach my goal and fulfill my dreams. But honestly, sometimes I also get disappointed because some of my dreams will just remain a dream..
But life must go on, I'll never stop dreaming. I know God is with me and I hold on to His promises.
" For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11
